I bought this as a present for my husband, who is well known for cutting odd shape slices! He loves it! He can now cut thin slices, thick slices and not waste any of the loaf by trying to “even up” the loaf. I bought it with the bread board which helps line up the loaf and allows cutting right through due to slicing channel in it. My brother was visiting at the same time and was also raving about how easy it was to use.

Tried this out at a market and I was genuinely shocked at how easy this sliced the bread and carrots. CARROTS, PEOPLE. You do not need to use any pressure at all on. I can use two fingers and no steering to cut the baguettes they brought. Simple as that.
I have arthritis and my wife just simply cannot cut an even slice, so I’m very excited to receive this in the mail! I cannot wait to get back into making bread and using this to finally cut some even slices for us. We also have a TINY kitchen, so less crumbs everywhere would be great.

Bought a bread saw a few weeks ago – it has changed my life! My husband makes beautiful sourdough loaves – they are magnificent with golden hard crusts. We love the bread but I would hate the effort of sawing it as I would need to take breaks due to the effort required.
