Timber Wood Wax

Timber Wood Wax

Option

Beautiful timber deserves beautiful care.

When we couldn't find a wood conditioner that met our standards, we created our own.

Our Little Bread Winner Natural Timber Conditioning Wax is lovingly handmade using food-safe, all-natural ingredients to nourish, protect and extend the life of your timber bread board and bread saw.

Specially formulated to penetrate and condition the timber, our wax helps prevent drying, cracking and everyday wear, while enhancing the natural beauty of the wood and leaving it feeling silky smooth.

Choose the formula that suits you:

  • Original Beeswax & Coconut Oil – our classic blend for long-lasting protection.
  • Vegan Soy Wax & Coconut Oil – a plant-based alternative with the same nourishing benefits.

For the best results, we recommend applying a fresh coat every 6–8 weeks, or whenever your timber begins to feel dry.

Pair it with our Bread Board Steriliser Spray to keep your Little Bread Winner products clean, protected and looking their best for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the Little Bread Winner Wood Wax?
A. Our Wood Wax is a handmade blend of beeswax and coconut oil, specially formulated to nourish, protect and beautify your timber boards and saws. It's 100% food safe.

Q. Do you have a vegan wax option?
A. Yes! Our coconut and soy Wood Wax is completely vegan friendly — no beeswax involved. Simply select the vegan option when ordering.

Q. How do I apply the Wood Wax?
A. Apply a small amount to a clean, dry board using a cloth or your fingers. Rub it in with the grain and leave it to absorb for a few minutes, then buff off any excess with a clean cloth.

Q. How often should I wax my board?
A. Every 4–6 weeks depending on use, or whenever the timber looks dry or dull. Regular waxing keeps your board in top condition and extends its life.

Q. What is the Steri product?
A. Our Steri is a natural sanitising treatment designed specifically for timber boards. It helps keep your board hygienic and safe, especially after cutting raw meat or fish.

Q. How do I use the Steri product?
A. Apply to a clean, dry board and leave it to work for a few minutes, then wipe off. Once dry, follow up with a coat of Wood Wax to keep the timber nourished.

Q. Can I use both Steri and Wood Wax together?
A. Yes — they work as a team! Use Steri to sanitise and clean, then seal and nourish with Wood Wax. It's the complete care routine for your timber.

Q. Are these products safe for food contact surfaces?
A. Absolutely. Both our Wood Wax and Steri products are made with food safe ingredients and are safe to use on all cutting boards and food prep surfaces.
